The Racecourses
The racecourses involved in the Bonusprint.com All-Weather Championships are:
Lingfield Park
Just two years ago, Arena Leisure invested £6 million into a complete refurbishment of Lingfield Park including virtually all public areas, horse walks and paddock. This transformation follows the success of the £3 million polytrack surface which continues to attract praise from Owners, Trainers and Jockeys alike. The track has the deserved accolade of Europe's premier all weather Racecourse. An increasing amount of potential group horses are beginning their careers on the highly successful Polytrack surface at Lingfield Park, a great testimonial to the quality of this surface. Arena Leisure were delighted to stage the first ever group 3 race on the polytrack in 2005 with the Ladbrokes Silver Trophy.
Throughout the winter, Lingfield Park guarantees full fields, so
much so that almost every handicap is at least doubly
over-subscribed, making eight-race cards the norm. On Turf,
Lingfield Park offers the high-class Derby and Oaks Trials meeting
and remains a favourite jumping venue especially as a suitable
track for novices.
Close to Gatwick airport, the M25 and M23 motorways plus a nearby
railway station, Lingfield Park is very easy to get to. Golfers can
also enjoy a round of golf in the morning at the track before
racing, or spend an hour in the gym at the Leisure Club to work off
the fine food.

Southwell
There is a unique blend of charm, excitement and comfort which
combine to make Southwell Racecourse one of the premier sporting
venues in the East Midlands. The course has undergone a £3
million development and upgrade programme. Following the
installation of a new Fibresand all-weather surface late in 2004,
the course has opened its new weighing room, dramatically improving
facilities for Jockeys and Officials.
In addition to the popular programme of allweather racing,
Southwell also stages Flat fixtures on the Turf and Jump racing is
also a regular attraction. Southwell has become a popular venue for
corporate hospitality. Our par 70 nine hole golf course occupies
the centre of the course where a resident PGA professional is
available for tuition.

Situated at Dunstall Park,Wolverhampton is one of two UK
racecourses that stages racing under floodlights throughout the
year, as well as regular afternoon fixtures.

with regular late-night dancing and leading local bands providing a
finale to a top class night's racing for restaurant diners.

the Holiday Inn Hotel, part of the grandstand itself, offers
excellent value accommodation. Racegoers are advised to book early
to avoid disappointment.

Kempton Park
During its re-development, Kempton Park built a track made from
the latest generation polytrack which enables them to race year
round - day or night.
The All Weather Track is a right-handed, ten furlong oval. Kempton are the first racecourse in the world to use a retractable floodlighting system - so when they're not racing under lights - the columns go down and everyone has a great view of the course.
